ive been making kandi stuff for a while now and everything is fine until it comes to tie it off. im always super trashy with it and the best case scenario is glueing the last strings down. there HAS to be a better way. like a fancy knot thats i can trust to hold it together. any help is appreciated ::))

To tie strings together, like adding string to a cuff, its best to use a square knot here's a brief tutorial

I cant put to words how to tie off cuffs tho.

when finishing a project ( i dont know how to explain this) i take the sting im working on and loop it around one of the previous rows of string, in between beads, and then take the end and put it through the loop, then i do it a bunch of times, and its really hard to get out, also clear nail polish is a good sealent

it typically depends in the stitch/project im making but i use square knots. (im not sure if this will make sense but ill try my best to explain) if you put one end of string underneath the string of two different beads and make a loop you can tie those two ends together ( i tie it 2-4 times to make sure its secure. you can glue it if you want) . if you do the same thing as the last one but you put the loose end through the loop and pull that also works (again doing that 2-4 times, i recommend 4 times). if you keep the short end of string on a smaller cuff, you can put the long end through the beads until you get to the short end and tie those together normally or square knotted. you can also look knots up on youtube. it helps the knot stay together if you glue it after tying and stuffing the knot in a close bead. hope this helps! lmk if this doesnt make sense!

using a stretchy cord, make your kandi like normal. Then, do the first step to tying a shoe. Yank it tight. keep doing it an even number of times, I normally do it 6-10 times depending on the thickness of the cord.
