I wanna cut my hair but my mom won't allow it :(

I really really want to cut my hair short, but my mom literally hates the idea :/ she says that I'll regret it, because she cut her hair once when she was like 17 and absolutely despised it. in addition, she also says that she thought she had raised a girl and not a guy. I even made a whole list of advantages of short hair and she didn't even care 20.gif that was around 2 months ago and i still can't stop thinking about it. I also said I'd like to (partly) dye my hair but she hated that idea too. I'm really frustrated 513b55c71219e_kao_cry.gif

do it! its YOUR hair not hers! it doesnt matter what she thinks or what happened when she was 17 because guess what? she doesnt know a thing! shes not you. cut your hair, dye it, live your life to the fullest! youre only a teenager for so long so dont live your teenage years in fear of what your parents will do or what other people will think about you. and remember, it will grow back if you dont like it! <3

ugh yeah my mum did this too. What i did was i pretended to get gum stuck really high up in my hair, and we has no choice but to cut it happy

Also just cut it yourself. I'm trans ftm too screw her it's your hair

that sucks, I mean worst case scenario you just have to wait to grow it back :/ . If you want a sneaky way into it you could try "accidentally" getting some gum stuck in your hair deep, or just get a short wig. I also used to wear my hair in a ponytail in a beanie to mimic short hair before I got it cut

ughhh i hate moms like that omg like,, it’s ur hair ???? just bc SHE had a bad experience w short hair doesn’t mean u will. i would say, if it’s safe for u to do so, just go for it. chop that shit. sure she might be mad for a while, but it can’t last forever !
