E-mail about new patterns?

I was thinking it'd be nice if you could have an option on the new website to get an e-mail when someone adds a new photo or pattern if you really like their stuff. Just a sugestion

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

Cool idea, and should be possible because I already have the setup for notifications. The hardest part is knowing how to group their updates / how often to send the emails. Maybe there could be options for, "Email me the day the person uploads something new," or "Email me every week with the new items they've uploaded."
