A short disclaimer before I begin: I don't think everyone in this fandom is toxic like this, I've met some amazing people in the eddsworld fandom and this is not meant to be offensive in any way.
Ok, so the Eddsworld fandom is getting a bit filled with toxic and hate.
For example, I know in every single fandom there will be things like smut or sin. I'm fine with that, I mean I don't really like it and it makes me a bit uncomfortable but whatever, to each his own. But, in the eddsworld fandom, it is just overpowering. you look up eddsworld, scroll down, and all you see is a bunch of nsfw. it can be offensive sometimes.
another thing is people being rude. A big example of this is a ship called Tomtord. it's the ship that gets the most love, but also the ship that gets the most hate. People even get death threats for liking it. that's incredibly horrible and inappropriate.
Finally, (dunno if this upsets others but it upsets me a little bit) I feel like they are disrespecting gay couples. For example, they draw one person as a child and the other as an adult. Or, drawing one as a femboy and the other as an alpha or something, I mean it's the same thing with the gacha community, it seems as if making gay couples like that a trend? idk.
There's a lot of other things, but I don't want to make this too long.
