Cosplayers: whats the weirdest experience you've ever encountered

mine was when i was cosplaying as Hamiko Toga from my hero academia, my very first time cosplaying, so i was casually walking around the mall and i walked into hot topic, someone came to greet me, freaked out and said "OMG! my boss would love your outfit." and she grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the manager, the manager was just like"oh, cool, love the outfit." and the lady had let go of my wrist and walked off so i was just standing there all awkwardly, but, yeah thats my crazy encounter, now that i type it its not as scary as it was when it was happening, but hear me out, im and introverted weeb that sits in her room listening to kpop making kandi, it was very scary in the moment okay? xD

@Ash_fortia: you can always do closet cosplays! thats how i started out coslaying, im pretty sure that there might be tutorials on how to make paper wigs too, paper wigs are cool in my opinion because you can customize them any way you want, and sometimes they have accessories at dollar stores for vv cheap! cosplay isnt about the money, its about being yourself and expressing your love for the show/character. idk what youll do with this information, but yeah.

this probably doesnt count but. this was circa sixth grade 2018ish. we had to wear a uniform at the school i went to and we only had like one day of wearing what we wanted. i had the excellent (/s) idea to come to school in full karkat cosplay. like face paint, horns and all. tldr i got free dress day banned. i think somebody took a picture so if there's probably an image of 11 y/o me in cosplay floating the internet.
