Pending Patterns

I have posted a few patterns and was wondering how the approval system works. I get that its based on votes but I have seen pending patterns from 2016 on here and was wondering why that is. Are all the submitted patterns gone through by an actual person or a bot? How long would you say it takes for a pattern to be approved?

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

patterns are let in based on the amount of votes your post gets in relation to posts that were submitted at the same time, but the mods usually have the final say. hope this helps
