Kandi charm help

hello, this is my first post on here, so forgive me if I seem out of the loop or anything.

I have been making kandi for a while now, but only recently began delving into the realm of flat charms.

Flat charms have become one of my new favorite things to make, but I have a small issue. Whenever I made one, one side of the charm always ends up being more “wonky” for lack of a better term.

I use multi-stitch, and I have come to realize it always happens on the side I tie the knot for the starting point (if that makes sense.)

Does anybody have tips to make that side nice and not wonky?

Thank you very much

Just adding onto what @illi_McMillan said, if u know how to flowers it's essentially the same concept to how you start then just continue as you would the way you're doing it now, idk if that helps, it may also be that you're doing even and that is hard to explain, just tread it till it goes where you want it lol
