knots on kandi

hello! I have had 4 of my kandis fall apart because of the knot untying, I usually use a box knot, is this because of the string/elastic or is it unavoidable? should I use a different knot?

@eeveewhisperer: I use mostly Paxcoo 0.8mm Elastic String. Also I'll be sure to use nail posh on it

I almost always use clear nail polish on my knots to make them extra sturdy. What kind of elastic are you using? You're most likely doing everything right, but sometimes the strings just slip and unknot.
