Has anyone made long bunny ears?

Hi all, Was thinking of making some bunny ears to be mounted to a headpiece or headband and thinking it may be heavy/unwieldy to dance in. I'm imagining them about 18 inches long and worn floppy/down, flat against skull/hair instead of standing up. Has anyone made something like this before and what's your experience wearing it, dancing in it, etc? My first forum post so if I am missing some etiquette please let me know : )

if you use eva foam and faux fur I don't think it will be that heavy but maybe try to get a headband with the studs that hook to hair!

now don’t take my word for it this is based off of comments and observations of bunny fursuiters but I’m extremely sure that floppy rabbit ears that long would still be fine to jump around and dance with as long as there isn’t any stuffing or anything else that could potentially weight it down. Now having it attached to a headband or something could present a new problem since it’s so easy for it to fall off but like I have this cap with bunny ears on the side (half the size your are gonna make yours but anyway) and I do a lot of high movement activities and not once has it fallen off or even budged so I think your best option is a cat or any hat of some kind. Sorry I’m kinda terrible at explaining things but I hope this able to help you some way :3

I don't know much about sewing, but I think felt might work? Or if you can get a really light fur fabric... The headpiece would need to be really secure though, especially for dancing.

And no worries about etiquette- we're pretty chill here. As long as you're nice you'll be fine :-)

ive made something a littleeee bit similar, it didn't work out for me idk though.

Ok so I haven’t made any bunny ears myself but I did try to find a tutorial, all I could find were tutorials on cat ears so maybe you could use that pattern and adjust it? Sorry if this doesn’t help :/
