What's the best kind of string for kandi?

I started out kandi with fishing wire, and it's not the most elastic kind of thread out there. Are there any specific brands you'd suggest? If so, where can I get it?

Elastic string works best for smaller projects, try to steer away from fishing lines. https://www.amazon.com/Bracelet-YGDZ-Elastic-Cryst... works great for larger projects!

hope this helps <3

Use elastic craft string to make it flexible.

i suggest stretch magic from basically any crafts store, i use the clear 0.5 mm one because it's pretty stretchy. i go to Michael's for my string but they run out rlly quickly so i had to buy from amazon. so yea!!

Wal-Mart has a big spool of elastic for $8 in the craft section with the crafting stuff directed towards kids. It’s I believe 130 yards and I’ve used it for everything with no issues kao happy

Depends on what you're making. If you're making singles/other things you wear on your wrists, I've seen people usually recommend fabric cord. I use this stuff, there's listings on eBay for about 5 dollars for two 180 ft spools.

For peyote charms or bead pets, I recommend something elastic but not as stretchy, like Bead n' Stretch.

For masks, I use fishing line for the mask part and stretchy elastic string for the straps.
Hope this helps you!

i have a big spool of rainbow elastic string!!! it stretches really well,, its pretty thick but its great for all sorts of kandi happy i dont remember if i got it at amazon or michaels, but its wildly available in most craft stores. the clear string that comes in most pony beads kits is usually not strong enough for me,,, but i use it when i stringing charms with smaller holes.

I use 2 typez, Stretch Magic .5mm 82.02 ft, and Beadalon Supplemax clear .30mm 164ft. Stretch Magic is suuuuper stretchy and good for cuffs, singles, etc. Supplemax is not stretchy and good for charms, basez for maskz, etc. U can get both @ Michaels or Amazon!1!!1 Idk if itz @ other storez, but Im guessing it would be @ other craft storez!1 Have fun making kandi broski!rainbowsmilerainbowsmile
