You can do a long peyote stitch, or a long multi stitch.

I just do a long ladder stitch, maybe three or four beads wide, and attatch it to the bag

I would do a long peyote stitch and just attach it at the end~

this would be the stupid, cheater method, but if you are planning to use the bag, you wouldnt want the strap to break, so i would use, like crafting rope (like, any rope that is not itchy).

You could do a flat peyote that is very long and add a few rows to it or you could do a flat peyote that's roughly 5 rows wide and keep building up until it's long enough for a strap. That's what I did happy

I would do a long and narrow peyote strip

the first one is a type of multi/pyote bag, the strap is a pyote because it is flat on the outside the 2nd picture is how I made a tank top my first few months of making kandi and I did the whole shirt multi and then at the certain points I just worked my way up and around pyote style the third is the 2,2,1,2,2,1 style which is the same way you would make the top strap of a bikini

It depends, if the bag is a multi stitch you can start on one side and pyote up and around to the other side until its the length you want, if you made it pyote stitch, you can still make another pyote type band and attach it later, or make a smaller strap using two strings going 2,2,1,2,2,1 I'll try and find some sample type pictures for you
