I was wondering if anyone could help talk me through the basics of making a kandi hood. (Kind of like https://kandipatterns.com/photo-page/kandi-hood/54... but with pony beads instead of perlers.)

I tried looking at photos to get an understanding of how to start, but it wouldn't come to me. If anyone could kind of give me instructions in the comments, it would be much appreciated, and I would even be willing to send you a PLUR package as a thank you gift if you'd like.

@Radio: Thank you SO SO much! I never would have thought to try a right angle weave. That suggestion was exactly what I needed to get started in the right direction!

Koko uses a right angle weave on the hood - other than that, I'm not sure how they did it. I know that a lot of people use just a normal flat peyote stitch to make them too, like KandiToybox. Ultimately, it's a creativity thing, different people use different methods.

This video may give you a general idea on how you can make one if you can add your own creativity? It's not exact whatsoever I know, it's just a beanie.
