Tell Your Sad Kandi Stories Here

I'll start with mine, I have three stories about perler. kao cry

1. When I was starting to make perler, I was making a medium sized sword, large for me. I was using a lot of boards and was putting them on a TV stand right where my hamster cage was, the urine and water that went through the hamsters stuffing for the cage, leaked through and dripped all over the beads, causing the beads to smell terrible. Had to remove all the beads.

2. I was making my own Tinker Bell, it wasn't great but whatever, took the board into my moms room and turned around and banged into the door with the board and beads went EVERYWHERE. I fell to the ground crying.

3. One day I forgot which side I needed to melt and melted the side with the tape which was not good. One side is sticky.

I got one

One time I had just made this really cute cuff and was going to show it to my dad. But my dog who was less than a year old at the time jumped up and bit it !!! Not to be mean she just wanted to play (she was not trained at the time). Even though she barley bit it because of her huge teeth (she is a doberman so you can imagine the size) it broke and beads went everywhere. I spent two days on that cuff, I cried while I picked up it's remains sad

Once I was making a kandi cuff, it was my first time making one, and the string snapped and at the time, I did not know you could just tie the string back on so I was really upset

For some reason I remember something that happened when I was about 3, my mom showed me some beads she had used when she was little, so I made a bracelet out of them, and as I was carrying it to my dad so he could tie it, my clumsy self dropped it and the beads went everywhere.

This is one is not really a sad kandi story, but does anyone ever drop their whole supply of beads onto the floor and instead of instantly picking them up you just stand there in shock with your mouth wide open for about five minutes?

For the longest time none of my strings would stay knotted, and I actually almost gave up kandi altogether. Lucky I was just using a not-great string and got some better stuff kao blush

One night I couldn't sleep so I spent hours working on a cute choker. After I finally attached the last decorations, I tried to put it on and it snapped. Beads went everywhere and the noise woke up my parents ;w;

I don't know if this counts as a sad kandi story but when I left a very bad abusive situation I lost all my art stuff including my very large expensive bead collection. I had tons of real gem charms and beads, things that were purchased as gifts from special people and even old broken jewelry that had been my great aunts, who died when I was 14. It still breaks my heart I lost that stuff. But the show goes on!
