Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

Click on the social link on the green navigation bar. On that page there's a search box you can use to search by username, name or email. If our friend hasn't entered their name, they won't come up with a search for that.
