Pattern Maker, specifically grid sizes

SavviKardynal 5/19/2017 10:54 am 5880

So I'm wondering how, if it's even possible, to make pattern sizes that are larger than 50x50 in the Kandi pattern maker. I've seen patterns made by other people that are larger than 50x50, so I'm assuming that it can be done, but it always maxes out on both of my computers. I do have an app on my phone to make patterns, but I want to be able to upload them directly from this site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Hello you two! Found this site as a means to prepare for EDC Las Vegas happy Then made an account to join in this conversation lol. As for me, I just located a 21x15 peyote stitch file and then loaded it into Photoshop CC to make an original design. @Savvi this link is to a peyote stitch that is about 100x150 if that helps. This site's pattern maker is buggy enough, I'll stick with PS! @Turbo well I found this android app called "Make your beads patterns" that does a peyote stitch, but rated 2.8 stars so use at your own risk. BeadTool4 is free but you can't save or print without the $50 license. If you're thrifty you could screenshot.

So I didn't find an app, but I found a computer program that has tons of different stitches (Including square and peyote). Here's the link: https://www.beadtool.net/download.html Might make it a bit easier for everyone. I find the pattern maker on this site to be kind of limiting.

@TurboBeads: Lol. Yeah, I really want to find one for peyotes. I'm definitely going to do some looking around. I'll message you if I find anything.

@SavviKardynal: thats cool! If only there was an app for peyote stitch patterns, cause there are times i may not be home, on the go and what to create something on the fly, but have to wait til i get to my computer to do anything. So many apps it has to exsist! Ha ha and the easter egg hunt starts.

@TurboBeads: I use this app for perler patterns called Bead Studio. It's the free version, and you can have a template that's up to 500 beads long and wide. You can also have it generate a pattern from a photo, it only makes them really big, but it shows all the detail, so it's still pretty cool. You create your own patterns by tapping each spot (it actually looks like a peg board and beads). It's kind of time consuming, but it's also kind of fun, so whatever.rainbowsmile
