What is the best type of string/beads to use for a kandi cuff?

.5 mm - .7mm I personally hate using 1 mm because it's too thick and the string gets caught between the beads.

I use .5mm elastic. But I have used .7mm, I had a bunch of that. But my preference is .5mm strong Darice Jewelry. You can find it at JoAnn's and it comes on a spool of 100yds :3

I'd use fabric covered sting, mainly because fishing line doesn't bend and shape as easy.

It's best to use elasticated string and pony beads. happy

I use what I call 1/2 size pony beads. they arent the tiny tiny ones or the large ones. I guess they would be considered mini pony beads, not seed beads. I get mine at Michle's (a craft store like Hobby Lobby but cheaper, and has more variety of pony beads)where you can get a whole 1LB bag for cheap. I also like to use bead and strech from walmart (usually 0.7) and in a pinch strech magic from michael's (0.5). Hope this helps big grin
