HEY GUYS.. I WANNA MAKE MY FIRST OCTUPUS.. SHOULD I USE THE PLASTIC CORD OR CLOTH COVERED?

i wanna make it for my teacher her bday is soon! but im not sure what string to use!! is fabric covered good? im worried it might not hold the shape as well

@_plutoexpanded: i never said so. fabric string is still a lot better than plastic if you want your kandi to last long (or at least longer than it will with plastic string)

Fabric covered, i made the mistake of using plastic and it just breaks alot easier and rots over time and it just isn't the best to use for Kandi projects like that, they work better for singles but still not as good, and the plastic doesn't stretch as much as the fabric does so it makes it harder to put them on kao cry

always use cloth/fabric covered string. plastic string will rot eventually

i assume that by cloth cord you mean fabric-covered elastic? i've never made a kandi octopus BUT i've made lots of cuffs and stars and it works great so i'd recommend it big grin (I DID NOT ADD THIS EMOJI WHY IS IT HERE WHAT)

just plastic cord gets "kandi dry rot" after a few years depending on where you store it which basically means the cord goes brittle, loses elasticity, breaks, etc.
