Storage advice?

PeaceLoveKandi 4/4/2017 03:25 pm 3167

I've been storing all my beads in sandwich baggies and a small container and was wondering if anyone has any advice on a more organized way to store beads. If you can find them online please leave a link for the item. Thank you in advance beating heart

tool boxes/ organizers can find them really anywhere. I have a husky tool box with the bulk of my beads and i have 3 other interlocking tool boxes that were like 10 bucks at walmart. It all really depends on how many beads you jave and how you are trying to organize them.love

At craft stores, they often have bead packs in containers that separate the colors, Embroidery Floss containers are essentially the same thing, they have ones in the fancy beading section at walmart, i usually pick up any if i find them at Thrift stores happy

I use the tool organizing shelves that they sell at most home improvement stores, like Home Depot and Menards. They have tons of compartments so that you can keep the different colors sorted, and you can mount them on a wall. It's easy to label them as well. They're less than $20 each for the size that I have. I included a link to where I got them. They have different sizes as well, so I'd encourage you to look at a few to find the one that would best suit your needs. One of the smaller drawers can fit a 1000 count bag of perler beads perfectly, and two large ones can fit a 6000 count bag. Plastic Sliding Drawer Organizer - Menard's

Hope this helped. rainbowsmile

I usually just put them in those organizer containers but if you have a big perler bead bucket link me then ud need a ton of containers sadly and those are a pain to store too.

Try ice cream buckets if you have a bunch of beads. Any food plastic containers with lids will work, just have to wash them before using them plus you don't have to buy containers for the beads, just have to buy the food, although if you wanted to then I'd suggest checking any dollar stores.

I'm not sure what kind of bins you use but the ones I like are sectioned bins here's the one I've been using each section holds around 750 pony beads (https://www.google.com/search?q=joanns+storage+bin...) Hope this helps!!beating heart

You can find some good storage bins at walmart for pretty cheap, in the craft section... Thats what I use...
