@pocketcosmic: I agree, I didn't know how to make masks the other day (I alr knew the peyote/multi) and after seeing a diagram I figured it out pretty quickly!

don't judge yourself based on other people's stuff!!! I promise, you will get there

Once you get comfortable with the technique, big projects arent so complicated, they just take time.

My advice: start some sort of series of small projects that use one technique (i made my pride flag tubes for peyote tube/odd peyote) and that can help you get some quick familiarity with the process.

try starting off with basic stitches such as multi-stitch, even/odd peyote stitch, x-base, etc. i checked your profile and you seem to be pretty good at these stitches!!! with enough practice, you could easily make more "advanced" cuffs and more pieces like what you listed.

gl kandi making1111!1!

The people you see making amazing complex things have been making kandi for years most likely, like ive been making kandi for a year and i still struggle with a lot of things

you'll get there eventually trust me love

honestly experiment !! just slap stuff onto other stuff n you begin figuring it out !! also. youtube. lotsa youtube.shrug some people grasp things quicker (example i can make huge rotator cuffs but peyote will always be the death of me)

tbh most of the stuff you are making is advanced for a beginner. When I first started I didn’t post anything I made because of how bad it looked, so definitely practice and you’ll continue improving! Everyone starts somewhere kao happy
