Parents who make kandi for their kids

So I enjoy making Kandi because it is a really good way to wind down from life. I have made several cuffs for my husband and my daughter (who is 3 if you are curious) and was just curious if there are any other parents out there that do the same. thumbsup

I interned at a preschool and one of my favorite activities to do with the children was make kandi (I just referred to them as bracelets though). Making bracelets with small children is such an enriching activity because it works their motor skills. Plus you can count the beads as you put them on, which builds math intelligence, or you can use letter beads to teach spelling. I always loved teaching to students "vocab" words with bracelets. I did one activity where students spelled names of shapes on the bracelets then they traded them and had to find a block that was the shape on their bracelet.

lol sorry this is so long. I'll stop rambling about the magic of kandi for young people now haha hkheartmamegomanyanko

Not a parent, unless my puppy counts, then I am a pet parent who has made little charms for her collars ^-^ But my mother works with pre-schoolers. I often have to go with her and I usually wear about half of my arms filled with it. Every time I go I usually tend to bring smaller ones because the children are quite fascinated with everythinngggg I wear.

not a parent but a sister. I've made my brother and his friends little Pieces to put in Easter eggs and Christmas stockings.

Little kids are always so excited to get them too! I love the way my daughter's face lights up when I make her a new one. I hope your nephew is the same way. kao happy
