Does anyone have tips for a Kandi class?

My school has this really cool thing where we have just special, non-academic classes for a week at the end of every semester and I'm doing a student-led one on kandi. I've already had two (2) classes so far, but I still have three (3) left, and those are going to be the longest ones (about 1 hour 20 minutes). And I need tips on keeping them engaged or how to teach in general. It's all very self paced (they all have access to a slideshow with a bunch of tutorials and tips and everything), but I'm not sure a lot of them understood that it was kandi, and not just 'normie' (I can't think of any other word to use) bracelets. My teacher sponsor also doesn't know how to make kandi so she can't really help. I'm pretty much doing all of this by myself and I just don't know what to do.

There's about 18 kids btw. I hope this all made sense but if you have any tips please tell me.

@sydneyskullz: Im just not sure everyone's going to be interested in it :[ the people that were didn't get in and most of the people in my class are more interested in singles. I've had about 2 people ask me how to make a cuff. Thank you!

as someone who runs a kandi club, maybe making it more interactive can help, and starting small and then getting bigger and building on topics (learning x-base then 3d, etc), also showing examples of what they are making :p.

@TheFroggieChair: I've taught them about trading but I could maybe add another slide to the slide deck about the importance/significance of trading ?? we do have a lot of maylas (I'm not sure how to spell it :[ ) so maybe I could talk about that. Some of the kids brought in seed beads to make more 'normie'bracelets so I'm not sure if I'll be doing that. Thank you !!

@bostaffsarecool_PBJ: I have a ton of example kandi I've shown them, a few of them are pretty excited about it though and are really into it, which im super happy about it :3 Thank you !

1. maybe teach them abt PLUR and kandi trades 3. encourage them that if they can make these, they could possibly start up a business on selling these 4. show them some actual kandi maybe 5. maybe show them the difference from the normie bracelets idk im really bad at teaching ppl something
