kandi lanyard ideas

my school just made it a requirement to wear your student id around. i plan to make a kandi lanyard to be cool. any ideas for what i can theme my lanyard on/around?

@Greythefox: i’m planning on cutting the necklace part off of a lanyard i currently have, since i dont have a spare clippy-thing. then it’s just a really big single, i think. i’m pretty sure you could also make cuff ones, i’ve seen photos. basically i just looked it up for inspo and found some stuff that looked like what i wanted to make.
