Having trouble printing out blank templates

So, Ive printed out the free blank pegboard specifically the 29x29 squares, I print them so they should print 100% but they dont match up to the perler square pegboard. The pegboards I have are the 4 pieces that connect together. I just need it for one square, but Im having a hard time finding anything that fits the peg spacing.

It's for my daughter, I wanted it to fit under the pegboard so it's easier for her to follow and do it on her own.

Was hoping someone had some suggestions?

Yeah I actually first started to tape a piece of paper and then pushed the pins into the paper and that sorta worked, then I realize I could also do the pencil or crayon rub trick. But then I was like umm it would probably be easier to photocopy the plate and that seemed to work ok.

Are the templates supposed to print out to match? It seemed like it by the "directions".

Im going to print out a template thats on the perler website that already has a pattern on it and see if I can use that to make blank one. I dont know why they dont make blank ones too.

I appreciate your responses and suggestions.

Thanks!

what i'll call possyibly messy and by no means full proof but still a valid option is you take the peg boards and press them into a stamp pad (ideally black) and then press them onto paper on a flat surface obviously with not too much pressure but enough to get the job done. the raised cone like things will pick up the ink while leaving the base free and clear meaning a nice dot only transfer.

a secondary option is to do take a piece of air dry clay or something that can provide a smooth surface that can easily be imprinted upon make the iitem even thickness and top smooth then press the pegboard into top carefully to make holes without distorting shape much. remove pegboard allow to dry and then use as a rubbing board with paper overtop and a crayon or something to transfer.
