how do i respond when people ask me how i made kandi?

i showed some of my friends the kandi ive made and they asked me how i made it and i didnt know how to respond-
ive just been trying to awkwardly describe it but im bad at it :<
they never ask about a specific item either? i think they might just be referring to the Kandi in general? which makes it harder to answer

OMG I HATE WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME THIS!! because I can't just say- "idk" or "i looked at tutorials on the internet" but if i literally tell them how I make my kandi- they get bored or look at me weird. maybe it's the 'tism talking but i don't think this question has an answer.
