Anyone use a heat press for perlers?

I'm new to perlers and to save time I've been using a heat press to melt perlers with some mild success

Anyone else master this technique?

`I use an iron. Majority of my perlers came out smooth but some did not due to me putting it under heat for so long.

`What I do to not melt my peg board, or make it bend, is that I melted the top perlers with the melting paper and made sure that they were melted where I can take the paper and pick it up with the perler attached still. I then finished the melting process on my table. My table isn't glass, its wood. Melting on glass is a bad idea! kao blush

`Sometimes what I do is flip the perler over and melt the other side. Some people don't do that due to looks. It's up the melter - you!

Side note: People take masking tape and tape the finish project and then lay it out on their table to melt the perler. It's all due to the peg board not wanting to be ruined. happy
