You don't have to rave to be a kandi kid or to make kandi. I think as long as you love the music, the culture, and follow P.L.U.R.(R). then its alright. After all the culture is about acceptance and not to be judged right?hkheart

kandi is made with love. no matter if you rave or not. it is fun to make and create things. more people need to be creative, and some find their niche in kandi. it is a wonderful outlet because there is no wrong way. rainbowsmilehappy

Guys, please note that this thread is from 2012. The culture has changed a lot since then. There were far less people back then who made kandi but didn't rave.
