I just finished my first Kandi, and it was a mask, how did I do?

Hi kp,

I just created my first kandi anything(haven't even made any singles yet. I threaded a cheshire cat mask I saw on kp and was wondering how I did. I still need to buy the elastic for the straps which is why I'm holding the mask.

The pattern I used was an odd count mask, but I treated it like 2 even counts(I doubt this is a new idea, but I thought of it out of frustration with the extra steps in odd count.)

Basically I stitched the first half using the middle bead in the pattern to make that half even. Then I started stitching the second half and, again used the middle bead to make it even, only this time, the middle bead was a part of the other half of the pattern.

Wow, this was the first of ANY kind of kandi that you made? That's amazing! Some people struggle to make singles at first! And from looking at it, I would have guessed you've been making kandi for years.

It looks great! You did a really good job on it! Considering this is your first kandi mask you really killed it! Cause starting masks definitely isn't easy! I'd say all you gotta do is add some strap for the ears and your good to go!
