helloo, i though i would make a qna thing all about kandi, and i'll put my answers below the the template thing you can fill out.

KANDI SURVEY THINGY:

1. How did you get into kandi?e i was aware of what ka.mndi was for a while, and ever since i was little, for some reason i had this weird connection to pony beads. fast forward to earlier this year, my online bestie recommended a book to me (the book is called hell followed with us if any of you were wondering), and I WAS OBSESSED. i wanted to represent that book in some form and one of the characters, Nick makes beaded lizards to regulate himself in the midst of chaos. then i decided to get some pony beads from my local craft store, and made nick's yellow and blue lizard and benji's trand flag lizards. they're on my lanyard rn lol

2. What is your first kandi piece?

my first kandi piece was this wierd double thing with the trans flag and smiley face beads. i eventually gave it to my friend and now ey wear it everytime i see em. the reason my beaded lizards wasn't my first kandi is cuz i already had some beads but they were weird and fuzzy feeling.

3. What is your most recent kandi youve made?

i did a clown perler thing this morning but i dont think perler by itself counts so i guess the mk8 rainbow road rotator cuff i posted on my profile

4. Have you ever traded before? What have you gotten from other people?

nope, but i have sold some kandi at a market, that doesn't count though

5. What is your biggest kandi?

probably my sans mask

6. What is your smallest kandi?

7. What is your fave kandi/fave to make?

i have this cool chain tv bar screen thing (i'll post a picture)

8. Do you have any friends who like kandi?

yeah, i have maybe 5 friends? most of my friends are into kandi and i get asked to make stuff for them all of the time XD

9. Do you wear your kandi out?

if im out in the city where there are heaps of other queer people, i do feel more comfortable wearing my kandi

10. Fave colour combo?

lime green and navy blue

11. Do you use perler/melty beads as well as pony/kandi beads?

yah, i use them for all my cuffs

ok so i am literally answering my own question but i go by he/him, xe/xem, void/voidself/ and rot/rotself (yes i use neopronouns)

I stumbled onto a tiktok compilation and found it fascinating so I decided to learn more about it and get into Kandi

2. What is your first kandi piece?

When I started making Kandi it'd be a single, other wise a rainbow ladder cuff

3. What is your most recent kandi youve made?

Don't remember (I'll make an edit when I remember)

4. Have you ever traded before? What have you gotten from other people?

I have not traded before (To shy to ask) But I've gotten a keychain and some stars

5. What is your biggest kandi?

Peyote stitch Haunter cuff

6. What is your smallest kandi?

Candy corn charm

7. What is your fave kandi/fave to make?

X-Base cuffs

8. Do you have any friends who like kandi?

I'm beginning to make a friend who does it but none of my other friends do

9. Do you wear your kandi out?

All the time when I can, The least is a single or my Enby Ladder cuff

10. Fave colour combo?

colors are pretty

I have 2 little kits to make a Stich one and a mushroom one but I can't use an iron by myself

i'm not super sure? ips we just saw kandi a lot in alt tiktok comps and wanted to get into it, but never did until about a month or two ago xp

2. What is your first kandi piece?

our first kandi is a single that mp made, representing himself. we have a few singles we use to represent some of the alters in our system

3. What is your most recent kandi youve made?

we just finished a kandi tapestry thingie? it's a heart but with teeth! it's based off of the one made by CiriRose13, but smaller and symmetrical :3

4. Have you ever traded before? What have you gotten from other people?

nope, but i am planning on making some kandi for my sister, and hopefully getting a another bracelet in return :0 she doesn't make kandi, but makes bracelets too

5. What is your biggest kandi?

i'd say probably the rambley peyote thing we made! (if u want the pattern it's on my profile btw)

6. What is your smallest kandi?

besides our singles, we made a lil mephone charm using a pattern by ajaxmakesstuff!

our fave to make are charms/tapestry thingies!! they're so fun and complicated, and you get a cool lil guy at the end too : D

our fave kandi is a couple of our cuffs. we have one that's pink, blue, yellow, n white that says "magic a** princess, b***h" on it, n another based on the "you are an idiot" virus :0

mhm!! mephone /sys always makes sure we have a bunch on before we leave the house lol

1. It started with the Rainbow Loom, a weaving, well it just started with the Rainbow (Loom!) (seriously, i found the loom bands at an afterschool program some years back, and it escalated from there)

2. A pink and white single that says "MADOKA" on it.

3. I'm in the middle of a nine-row odd peyote cuff.

4. I haven't traded, but I have given a couple singles to friends.

5. A black star crown. I haven't been doing this too long.

6. Right now, hearts. I will surpass that, though. Just you wait.

7. What is your fave kandi/fave to make?

8. I don't have any friends that do this, but I hope to someday.

9. I make sure to wear at least one or two when I go out, unless there's a reason I can't

10. Too many to count. I love a bunch for different reasons.

11. I don't have a perler set rn, but I've used it before and I want to again

1. my friends got me into Kandi when I was invited to one of their birthday parties

2. my first Kandi piece was a single that literally just said 'kandi' (I don't have it anymore)

3. This past weekend I made a foxy perler, and matching blood moon and blue moon necklaces

4. I haven't done any real trades, but I received bracelets from my friends before

5. my biggest Kandi is my strawberry milk bag (pics are uploaded on my profile)

6. smallest is probably my hello kitty ring or stars I've made

7. I have two matching bracelets with my bf that I wear every day, they have the other's name on it with their favorite colors (mine has his name with blue/yellow, and his has my name with pink/red) and we both have a matching pink bracelet with heart beads

8. my two best friends like Kandi, and they're the ones who got me into making it. (One of them is actually on here, CertifiedKilljoy) :3

9. I wear Kandi out all the time, whenever I make a new piece I wear it the next day to school to show my friends and bf
