Awesome kandi, need advice on how to construct

I was browsing on tumblr and I found a picture of this really amazing kandi cuff someone made. I really want to make something like it but I have no idea how they did it. Someone help please if you have any advice

I think they made them separate than attached them

The octopus and the cuff are two separate parts. The octopus is a peyote stitch with two evil eye glass beads for eyes. The cuff is its own entity, but if you look closely, the top of the cuff looks like they made a peyote stitch extending from the cuff to accommodate the octopus, if that makes sense. I hope this helps!

it looks like the green part ts like a normal cuff but the top is cut off a little and for the octopus the top of the head is like a cuff and where the eyes and the legs are is a flat peyote than I guess tie the octopus to the cuff part this is a guess cause I never made something like this but it look cool so I going to try to make it if I end up figuring out how its made I will let you know
