Trading trades.?

I have a friend that always goes to major events and she is always doing trades. My one concern about it is that sometimes she trades kandi that was once traded to her. When I asked her about it she simply said that it doesn't matter to her because she didn't exactly like the ones she was trading. I have mixed feelings about it. What are your guys thoughts? I feel like if you were given kandi you should not re trade it. The person who gave it to you wanted YOU to have it and I feel tht every piece of kandi is made with love and shouldn't be taken for granted.. I'm sorry I couldn't explain this situation better. I guess to better word it off is.. Would you ever trade something you didn't personally make. You just received it from someone else.

i tend to feel the same i dont' trade what i've been given or gifted. seems a bit rude. when i go to events i wear my non trades on my left n trades on the right. that way i never give away a piece someone gave me. even if someone makes me a cuff or single n it's too small i just use it on my keys or some other way so that i can still use it.

I'm starting to get more into Kandi and personally I'm starting to have one arm full of Kandi that I've received from others and the other ready to be traded away with the people I'm totally ready to meet! But that's just my point of view.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks it's wrong. I'm sorry for such a late respond. I know she's not the only that does it I guess that's what makes her think it's okay. But yes if it is meant to be passed around then by all means. But if you simply don't want it then don't trade it just don't wear it and keep it. (: Thank you for the feedback. Hopefully I can get her to understand.

I gave some of my favorite pieces away at TW to the people I camped with. I still remember the bracelets and memories attached to them, and it was nice to gift people I had grown so attached to such meaningful pieces =]

I'm not a kandi expert but I feel like it sort of depends on the situation and what each individual piece means to the person... If I get a "Skrillex" single and can't remember who gave it to me at the end of the night at our Bassnectar concert, no promises I might trade it :] But with larger pieces or more sentimental pieces... you know when you're getting those and probably don't want to trade them. Or if you do trade them/give them away, hopefully it's to a worthy person or someone you see around.

Most kandi kids don't think that kandi should be retraded, and I agree. I think it's disrespectful. However, my ex boyfriend once received a bracelet that was far too small for him so he passed it on to me. I don't think it's quite as bad to pass a piece of kandi on to someone you're close with if the kandi doesn't fit you and won't be worn otherwise. And it's different if the kandi is intended to be traded of course... for example if the kandi has a little notebook on it where you write your name and trade it on.

no I only trade thing I made and to me you shouldn't trade kandi that you got in a trade

if it was meant for you to have that piece of kandi, whether it be a single or a big cuff, don't trade it. someone could offer you an awesome 3D in exchange for a double you just got, but i don't think you should re-trade.

I never once have traded kandi that was traded to me on purpose(sometimes in the desert it's dark and hard to see, shiz gets mixed up). I think it's actually impolite. I agree, they wanted YOU to have that piece; every piece of kandi is special. To say someone's kandi is "ugly" or you "didn't like it" is downright mean. That being said, I would condone trading huge traded pieces if the other person reallllllly wanted it.
