i want to make a backpack the size of a normal notebook any tips?

ive made a kandi purse but I guess you need to make it like a cuff and I didn't do that so would I make the backpack like I would a cuff just bigger? HELP!!

I was thinking about just making a giant cuff and then adding the flap and straps

id do a giant cuff and sew the bottom then add a top and clasp but there is a way to do it with panels

"skates99": yea its basicly a cuff you just need to make it bigger and pending on the weight of the items you may wand to double or tripple the string to make it stronger and also go on you tube you can find some more help
