What type of string should I use to make Kandi?

I am new to Kandi and I was wondering what type of string you guys would recommend? happy

For most things, like, singles, cuffs, 3Ds, necklaces and headbands I use .5mm clear elastic string. For stuff like peyotes, bags, top hats, kitty ears, masks etc I use fishing line and for things like skirts and kandi bikinis I use 1.0mm fabric covered elastic. Hope this helps.

For cuffs/singles/etc, I use elastic cord. For pretty much everything else, I use fishing line.

I would never ever use stretch magic unless it is 1mm. It stretches out and falls apart with sweat so it is the worst kind of string to use. I would use the string (medium) crumpet has on here in the kandi help section under kandi supplies. I use that for everything

for most bracelets you can just use a simple elastic such as Bead N Stretch or Stretch Magic. for more durable kandi its safer to use cloth covered elastic. for more peyote type things and bags, its better to use fishing line. hope this helped if you still needed help (:

i use string magic from hobby lobby .5 or .7 i find work best
