I feel that kandi is an art and every artist loves to be rewarded for their hard work... and some backgrounds just can't afford to give away kandi... the materials aren't free.... I'm just saying....

Why is it even such a controversial topic? Criticizing those who sell kandi is pretty counter-intuitive to the PLUR concept many kandi kids go by. As long as they are selling their work at a fair price I have no problem. I don't sell kandi just  because I don't and that's that. Just respect the decision of others on what they do with their kandi and there you go. This is a pretty trivial thing to get your panties all up in a bunch about.

I occasionally sell but I don't call it kandi I just call them pony bead cuffs or beaded cuffs. And I don't sell them for a whole lot really, my price is by height, like if its 3 beads tall ill sell it for $2-3 whether its 34 around or 28 around. And I put the money I get back towards buying more supplies

I think selling kandi is just like selling anything else you can possibly make. Now I'm not saying its an honorable decision, but its not one we can control either. I don't think we should be mean to those who do sell it; Mean meaning criticizing them. Regardless of their reasons it's not something we can change therefore we shouldn't worry ourselves over a subject such as this.

i think if its something big that you are selling cause its too big to trade or giveaway then thats fine cause you are just trying to get your money back for supplies and time

I think this just needs to be dropped and left alone, I'm so sick of seeing it everywhere. To each there own. just leave it at that.

By some people's standards kandi= beaded jewelry you take to raves. Beaded jewelry= beads put together in a unique fashion.

I think it's fine as long as you don't charge outrageous prices. I've seen people trying to sell a necklace for $15. If it was a giant and elaborate necklace with all kinds of stuff, then 15 might be more reasonable. But it was something I was charge 4 or 5 dollar for if I sold it.

i think its fine like you said making kandi takes money its fine if you take the money you made selling kandi to make more kandi then why not see me and my friends are going to yamacon(anime conv.) in dec and i was asked to make some kandi with anime on it like sailor moon, soul eater,ect....all the money i make i putting to getting more beads and stuff sooo if you want to sell kandi go for it just put the money to making kandi if you go by plur then you should be able to respect those that sell kandi like Halodiablo said
