Is there a way to make stickers sturdy enough to add to kandi? I guess kinda like the idea of shrinky dinks

You could take clear packing tape and put it on both sides and trim it down. I do this all the time with a lot of different things... it's like laminating but a cheaper version XD But make sure the leave a little tab thingy at the top when your trimming so you can put the string through without poking through the sticker itself!

you could glue a plastic sheet(like a piece of plastic from a binder cover)to it so its water proof and attach it to the cuff

I have these little clip things (I take the clip part off) and put the string through the holes. You can put stickers on them. If I find out what they're called I'll tell you or upload a picture.

Maybe you could make them into resin charms? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmByyO6EXWk http://www.impishdiy.com/2012/01/how-to-make-resin-charms.html
