Hey Spider, check out your profile now. I added a special section showing all of your "shared" patterns which haven't been approved. I wasn't going to add it yet because I am working on a much improved version of this site that was going to have that, but it's very fast to add so I might as well. To answer your question, the original "Your Patterns" section on your profile is only for patterns which were approved by an admin. The reason for this is that in the past some users uploaded very vulgar and offensive patterns which I didn't want on the site at all - not even on the users' own profiles. However I haven't seen any patterns like that in a while so I think it's probably safe. I'll have to add a "report this pattern" feature to be sure. Also, in the new pattern maker I'm working on there will be an area which shows all recently created/shared patterns, regardless of whether they were approved onto the site or not. If you haven't seen it yet, here's a preview of the pattern maker. But the video only demonstrates some of the pattern making functionality. The interface of it is not going to look anything like that. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152265052373993&stream_ref=10

When you save a pattern in the designer, it should appear under "Your Kandi Designer Patterns" on the My Stuff page regardless of whether you chose to share them on the site. The patterns that you've chosen to share on site and that have been approved appear under "Your Recently Uploaded Patterns." Edit: yeah, nevermind.

@ Crumpet. Admin; So I looked and looked but couldn't find any answer to this question that really made sense or was understandable. I see that you can add suggestions by utilizing "share on site" In the Kandi Creator, but I see those patterns I've offered listed in my 'your stuff' file, then right below it says " your patterns " and It says " you have not uploaded any patterns " - but I don't see any place to upload my own patterns to my profile whether you accept and make them public on the site or not. Why is there a " your patterns " section and why does it say " you have not uploaded any patterns " - If there ISN'T any way for ME to upload my own patterns to MY OWN profile whether people like them or not? Is that section only for the patterns that have been approved? And if so, why doesn't it say " you do not have any approved patterns uploaded by an administrator" ? I feel like I've been chasing my tail looking for an " upload pattern " button for my own profile that does not exist. Am I missing something here?

You upload directly through the kandi pattern designer. To do this, press the Upload icon (the arrow) from within the designer and then check the box that says "Share on site," then press the Upload button. This will send the pattern to the voting queue. If the majority of voters vote to approve it, it will be approved. Keep in mind that it can take several days for a decision to be made, and only a small percentage of patterns are approved. If you make changes to the pattern and re save it, you must check the "Share on site" checkbox each time that you save.
