i need to rant abt work!! (tw: homophobia)

soooo yesterday I did a closing shift at my work and like 15 mins before closing this older lady comes by to get a drink. (i work at a coffee stand)

i ask what she wants in a very nice manner and she just stares at me like i just cussed her out and she looks at me up and down and asks, "what's going on with your hair hun?"(i have short, half black and half blonde hair). i say, "oh, it was a trend for a while and i just think it gives personality".

she laughs a little and says "oh yeah it does" with a disgusted face. i was trying my best not to fully get mad at her so i ask, "what can i get you today? would you like to try our new drink specials?" and she just keeps staring and says, "come here hun. a little closer." in my mind i was like OMG SHES GONNA DO SOMETHING WEIRD

so i do and she WHISPERS, "are you transgender?"....... i wasn't gonna out myself in front of my co-work so i just said "i don't feel comfortable answering that question". once that happens, my co-work asks what she wants and all that. the lady got MAD AT ME for not answering the question and says, "well if she's not transgender, then she's definitely a big lesbian or some other f@g.".... WHAT?!?!

WHO SAYS THAT?!?! AND YOU DONT NEED TO WHISPER. ITS NOT A BAD WORD GIRLY. WHO SAYS THAT IN A PROFESSIONAL SETTING TO A TEENAGER?!?!
