Any cosplayers?

I LOOVE to cosplay! And I'm actually going to my first convention next weekend! SO PUMPED FOR IT! So, anyways, whats your opinions on cosplaying? And, if you do cosplay, what cosplays do you own, and what are your favorites? I have: Karkat, Gamzee, Dirk, Lady Ciel, and Hatsune Miku. My favorite would have to be Lady Ciel, and thats would I'm wearing to the convention!! :3 Oh, and, any tips for the convention? Like I said, this will be my first c:

I've been a cosplayer for SIX years this march ^^ I cosplay a HUGE list of characters but im mostly known for my Panty and stocking, hatsuna miku's and my harley quinns! especially after some made it to tv. I love cosplaying and even make some of my own cosplays. Enjoy your first con!! TIPS are, PACK a lunch, food is always expensive there. Bring water walking around so much and wearing cosplays can be very dehydrating. bring a camera or phone cause youll find tons of moments or things youll want to save. and a notebook to keep note of things you might want to get PLUS you never know who you may bump into so its always good to be ready.

I cost lay all the frigging time. My main cosplays are Grell Sutcliff,Naruto, and female Death the Kid^-^

I love cosplaying too ^^ I'm going to a con with some friends next weekend. :3 The only complete cosplays I have are Maka Albarn's regular outfit and another one of her outfits that doesn't really have a name ^^' and then I also borrowed a friend's Lady Ciel outfit one time~ But I have a TON of cosplans omg haha And as far as tips go, have fun, and make sure you have plenty of money ^^ Also, I recommend carrying a small bag of some sort so you won't lose your money or anything else you may take ^^ I like to add pockets to outfits when possible, and make sure I have bags that look good with whatever cosplays I wanna wear~ I learned the hard way that it's a lot easier that way (Lady Ciel with a Hello Kitty drawstring backpack doesn't look quite right ^^')

lol thanks guys!! and Beck, I'm wearing a long dress that covers my feet so I am just going to wear some comfortable shoes XD And I'll definitely bring a lanyard! And Lenacakes, don't worry, I already clearing my phone so I have room for pictures XD

Cosplaying and going to cons are the best things ever! I went to my first con back in December and it was great! Take a good look a your con's schedule of things about a bazillion times to make sure you have found all of the cool things you can participate in. I'd personally get a really good lanyard for your badge. My con had lousy badges that fell off all the time. They also had lanyards you could buy, but that didn't make much difference in my case. If your cosplay has you wearing uncomfortable shoes and your feet are getting fatigued, for the love of god take them off! Don't be stubborn and try to stay in character like I did. I could barely walk the following day. Back in December I cosplayed as Sailor Neptune/Michiru Kaioh (I was in her winter school uniform not the actual sailor suit. I didn't have the confidence to lol.), and I was Hanazono Shizuma in her summer uniform from Strawberry Panic. I'm getting to go to a con in March with a really large party of friends and I think it's going to top my first experience. I'm going to reuse the two cosplays I just listed and I'm bringing some older ones with me. I have a lolita dress and I'm debating on bringing my ff7 Aerith cosplay. Mom got that for me because it was her favorite character from the game. Sorry for the lengthy answer. XD Happy Conning DaveStrider!
