im prtty sure that in some places (such as the US) that it is medical neglect for your parents to not get you help when you're in need. i'd recommend doing some research on mental health stuff in your area!

@_Trix_: Well, fudge. I didnt get diagnosed until I was *COUGH* so I just went to Dr Wee Bruce and told him the dilly and he was all Yup, you got the depressions, pick the sample packs you like best and we'll see what works. This one's a big street drug in LA right now!

Probably not that one, I said.

Anyway, right now go with a good self care routine. I know everybody says keep hydrated but it can make an amazing difference. Regular sleep routine (I am lousy at this), Exercise if you can. Keep your brain and hands busy. When eating is hard, do a glass of milk or those bottled grampa shakes or soup - whatever takes no effort but will get some nutrition in there. Learn something new like drawing or making little mascot dolls.

Some days will be better than others, but that doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.

@_Trix_: Hissssssss! Okay, that's not ideal but it's also not uncommon. Is school still on for you? Can you talk to your counselor? Can someone else in the family offer backup?

@Phosfate: mom wont let me talk about it she thinks im faking it even though it effects me a lot

God,depression is the worst. Except for anxiety, which is also the worst.

My best morning depression thing is a big honking drink with ice, because sleep can be dehydrating and oncoming summer will just make it worse. Your mileage may, of course, vary. Anyway, sometimes a stupid easy hack like keeping a water bottle by your bed for the morning can help.

If it keeps being bad, as always, talk to your doc.

hey, you've made it this far and im proud of you for doing so. it doesn't matter how many times you fall, because you gotta focus on getting back up. it doesn't matter how small of a step you take towards progress because itll turn into a walk and then a run. its ok to be in a slump (i've been there too, you're not alone) mistakes happen, slip-ups happen, and recovery doesnt necessarily mean a lack of symptoms. maybe for some people it might, but i know that for me, it means that i know what to do when i get in that slump, for me it means that i can start myself back up faster than the last time. im here for you.

if you need to vent about quite literally anything, my dms are always open (i dont have any triggers because i got so jaded lol)
