essay topic??

okay so in my english class, i had to write a ten page research paper on a debated topic that i am passionate about. i had a lot of fun with it, and i’m pretty proud of it!! it’s worth 33% of my grade, so i hope i did well!!

i ended up writing about AI art and it’s negative effects on the artist community!! if you had to pick a debated topic to write a paper on, what would you write about??

i recently wrote a argumentative essay on LGBTQIA+ and if protests/riots actually work. It was a lot of fun and I found a lot about LGBTQIA+ rights!!!

in 7th grade i wrote an argumentative text about why trans women should be allowed to do swimming as a sport and do it with cis women:]

my mother had showed me a thing from a newspaper that said something like “trans women are no longer allowed to swim/compete against cis women unless they’ve undergone surgeries and taken estrogen before the age of 12.” and at the end of the news segment the writer had written “it’s a step in the right direction” and it all just p!ssed me off. (this was all in swedish btw, and might’ve been a bit different from what i remember)

if anyone is interested i can try to find the news segment since it’s probably up on the newspapers website thingy

homophobia and why its bad and stuff. cus like in my english class we've talked about ableism, racism, and sexism but not homophobia and its kinda frustrating cus i know my teacher supports (she literally recommended lgbtq+ themed books for me to do my book report on, the closet is glass-)

and like i know it isnt in the curriculum but if just one day, even if it was a wednesday(wednesdays are early out days at my school) dedicated to talking about it, i would appreciate my english class a lot more
