Tying Up Flat Charms

I'm fairly new to kandi and have tried making my first flat charms but I have no idea how to finish them up and tie them up. How do you guys do it?

ancient thread ik but i usually just try to weave the elastic through the beads over to the other thread and tie them off w/ a square knot over there. its definitely gets annoying but hey u got a charm out of it now
