Is it bad to buy/sell pre-made kandi?

I'm not talking about big stores like Hot Topic. I mean like, if someone hand-made a kandi cuff or something, and put it up for sale on Etsy, would it be wrong to buy it..? Because there's a cuff on Etsy that's really freaking amazing, but I don't want to break any 'kandi code' or anything like that by purchasing it... :/

I think its fine to buy/sell kandi. As long as you think of it not as kandi but as jewelry.

I am going to quote one of my favorite responses to this time of arguement. "You don't buy Kandi, you buy jewlery, You don't trade jewlery, you trade Kandi" My personal opinion if you are doing so, don't call it kandi :p I remember starting out and I was so clueless as to what to do. So I think I'll be a lil uplifter for the beginners, cha know?

i'm always up for a challenge. i'd have to see it to be sure i could try to make it n give it a shot to trade it to you.

My view is if your only buying it to scrap it for more beads then you have the wrong idea there, but if your using it to wear and you give the person credit (unless they don't want the credit then by all means own it!) then I think its perfectly fine to buy/sell kandi. Just keep it PLURR

A lot of people are against buying/selling kandi because they believe that it takes the purpose of kandi away. Kandi is supposed to represent friendship, and you can't buy friendship, so why would you buy kandi? This question really depends on who you ask it to, personally I don't think you should buy/sell kandi unless it's a really big piece like a bag, bra, hat, ect. because it's really hard to find a fair trade for it, and a lot of people who might not be able to trade you for it, but don't know how to make it might want it. Other people think you shouldn't sell kandi at all! Some people also think there is nothing wrong with it! There's no "kandi code", it's just all about how you think of kandi and what it means to you. If you think of kandi and friendship and a representation of PLUR, like some people, then maybe you shouldn't buy it. If you really like the cuff maybe you could try making it yourself? Or you could talk to someone about making the cuff for you and you could trade them?
