loveOk so I have a cat skull/skeleton i found outside at my grandparents house. (my grandparents don't have any cats) I was only able to take the skull and a few small bones. I'm going to take the rest next time i go over. But i was wondering if anyone had any good ways to clean the bones. I know that you should never use bleach because it can make the bones brittle. If you have any tips and tricks tell me laugh I think I'm going to name the cat Mayonnaise.confused

I know nothing about this, but you should definitely make it an assortment of little hats.

i think you can leave them in hydrogen poroxide and leave them in the fun for a few days

-remove any fleshy bits

-gently scrub with dish soap and water to degrease, let soak in more water and dish soap for like a day. if there's a lot of grease accumulation you can change the water and soak it for additional time

-12%+ hydrogen peroxide

-prepare a container of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 3 parts water

-soak bones for 24 hours

-check

-repeat hydrogen bath until bones r white (or at least lighter)

i did this with a bird beak once, but i lost it sad (i also only used 3% hp)
