My phone is broke help

I have an iphone and my screen suddenly went black and ive tried charging it and pressing buttons but it will not turn on. I am typing this on my school computer. This actually sucks so much I want to cry. I was supposed to get a new iphone for my birthday Feb 16 which is in a few weeks but now Im gonna beg my mom to let me get it sooner. If anybody has advice please please comment. god this is awful

that happened to me with my ipad pro, it happened because i pushed the headphone thingy too far into the headphone jack, i had to get the entire thing replaced at the apple store There's also a possibility that the screen display got disconnected from everything else which you can fix at home but apple is pretty anti 3rd party repair so depending on what gen you have you might not be able to fix it yourself (also side note our b days are 8 days apart!! and mine is on the 8th so its just cool) happy early b day and i hope you get your phone fixed/replaced!!!
