they're intrinsically linked- scenecore wouldn't exist without scene. it's not the same but more like a new wave of it with key differences, rather than a separate thing. and if we want to get technical, scene itself is a music-based subculture. scene & scenecore are different but linked hence the different but similar names /nm

I dont really think scenecore can be taken completely away from scene

as it seems as though most people who like scenecore have atleast a mild interest in scene culture, though they are definitely not the same thing in the slightest confused
