to be completely honest i have multiple personalities but i dont have DID bc im a minor, and im wondering how the systems here figured out the answers? like how did you come to the conclusion? /gen /nm

When I was diagnosed. There's a longer story bu it's not going here.

If you're experiencing dissociative symptoms (time loss, dissociation/derealisation/disconnect from reality, amnesia, identity confusion, etc) it is definitely good to get that checked out by a doctor, because it could be something else. In my case there was another condition as well causing a lot of dissociation and amnesia, which I was able to get treatment for and it's gotten better.
I don't know you, I don't know your situation, but in any case where you're worried about something it's good to go to someone who can help.

YYou can have DID az a minor (you can only develop DID az a young child actually az itz due to childhood trauma) but youd need proffezional help to make zure, az there are other dizorderz that are zimilar without actually having other perzonalitez, or OZDD (other zpecified dizzociative dizorder)

anyywayz, we found out we were a zyztem when i, the hozt, waz talking/raning to my boyfriend abotu ztuff that waz actully juzt zymptomz of DID (big memory gapz, zevere dizzociation, blackoutz, and the fact that other alterz have talked and introduved themzelvez before without my knowledge). after going over it for awhileee finally found out we were a zyztem, and we're now getting proffezinal help for it!
