Hanging up a kandi poster..

MidnightJordan 8/24/2013 09:46 am 1423

I've been wanting to make some kandi posters, but the ones I want to make are rather large. So with that being said, how would I go about hanging them up without them falling down? I know they get pretty heavy. So...advice? 1.gif

I personally prefer fishing line. its a lot stronger than most strings and keeps things together pretty good. I use it ALL the time. as for hanging it, allegory is right. lace a few lines threw...Id say about 5-10 rows to hold it steady and u can either make a loop on each side or braid the fishing line and lace it threw the whole piece (though that might make it fold in the middle when u try to hang it, id do the 2 loops) hope that helps ^_^

Well, with my posters (they aren't super small, but they're not really big either... they're meant to be cuffs) I string a hardy string through the top beads and knot both of the ends of the string together, cutting off any excess string and hang it on a thumbtack... if I were you, I would do something similar to that because sticky putty won't really stick to the beads and won't hold the weight of the piece.. I think that if you use a SUPER strong string or maybe even wire and string it through the top beads a few times and use multiple hardy NAILS,not just thumb tacks, it might work...
