what is a time where someone accidently validated your gender/pronouns?

im just curious if others have experienced this also lol

this is the one time it happened to me-

once a few weeks ago this one girl who is kinda an ass bumped into me then ran up to her boyfriend saying "it touched me!" but like no one uses it/its pronouns for me so i was really happy lmao

edit: the wholesomeness of these stories- i love

Does it count if I was on the phone with someone today and they were looking for me and they were he/himming me but . they were talking about me in the third-person because they didn't seem to believe that I was, in fact, the guy they were asking about :')

In I think 4th grade I started dressing pretty masculine (mostly just jeans and a hoodie) and a lot of the teachers/staff at school thought I was a boy, honestly I'm not even sure if this counts bc I wasn't identifying as trans then but it still made me pretty happy

And not-so accidentally my parents have finally started using my pref name in public!! They still pretty much only use she/her which makes me uncomfy tho, but at least I'm finally being called by the right name ^^

I was in a farmers market buying candy w my dad and this old lady was like "Would you mind if i gave your son a few dollars to buy sme candy? my grandsone is out of town and i cantget him anything for easter and i would really like to make someone happy this wonderfull holiday" AND I WAS SO HAPPY BC IT WAS LIKE WHEN I WASNT WEARING A BINDER OR ANYTHING AND I PASSED IN THAT WOMANS EYES IWAS LIK E SO HAPPY THE REST OF THAT DAY, my dad was shocked that she called me his son and laughed abt it but i was fr soo happy. Also this waiter in a mexican restrurant called me buddy, and my bus driver called me dude and bro and i was so happy lmao (even tho my deadname is super feminine )

last year's halloween my friends and i were trick-or-treating and this one sweet lady said "honey, look at his costume!" talking about me (I went as mono from little nigthmares) and i said thank you all happy and she was like "oh i'm sorry i meant she" and my friend was like "no u were right the first time. his costume is great." and i still think about that a lot

a few years back my homophobic grandma called me and asked when my boyfriend was comings over, she called us bothe they. separately. we are both somewhat non-binary. (He/they, she/they). she used our pronouns correctly without even realizing it, lol.

One time, and this was a while ago, I got called "buddy" and "sir" by the waiter at a restaurant. I was probably like, 15? But that moment stuck with me so much LOL

I was at a friend's neighbourhood and me and my brothers saw cats. I went to ask the lady if we could pet them and she said no. I went to tell my brothers and they thought I was joking until the lady came up behind us and said "No, he isn't lying"

I was at a child's birthday party once and a little boy came up to me and asked me what gender I was, but since I'm closeted I had to say I was a girl

He said I looked like a boy, so I played it off kinda like "oh yeah a lot of people think I'm a boy" and he goes "I think you're a boy too" LIKE????????
