how do you put images in threads or comments of threads?

idk i saw someone do it once and I wanna know how to do it

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

@Crumpet: thanks! i suspected it would be an HTML thing, I just didn't know what kind of code to put because coding and HTML isn't my thing, but I might be able to figure it out because of experience with spacehey

The previous comment is correct for thread images. Comment images aren’t an official feature; people are inserting the HTML for them (or pasting and their browser is doing the HTML for them). It’s a bit hacky really but luckily so far nobody has abused it. To anyone reading this, don’t abuse it or your account will be restricted. (Meaning, don’t post inappropriate content in images

idk about comments but there should be an image button when you're making a thread that you use to insert an image, but a mod has to approve the image before the thread gets posted
