Yeah, I completely agree. That should not be happening and I try my hardest to not let it happen. I don't think things are too bad on here because I don't see many hateful comments. If you have received more than one, it might be someone targeting you, possibly out of jealousy. But like I said, please report any hateful comments to me so I can take care of them

I'm really sad to hear that you received a nasty comment. We don't allow nasty comments on this site; when we catch them, we delete them. However, it's not possible for us to catch every comment. If you get a nasty comment, report it to me and I will delete the comment. If it's bad enough, or if this person has left more nasty comments, I will probably ban them. Whenever I catch a really horrible comment, I delete it and ban that person immediately. They don't get three chances if they leave a hateful comment that's designed to hurt someone. I'm not too sure about letting people delete any comment on their content because sometimes comments are how we find out that a photo/pattern was stolen, and the uploader could just delete that comment to hide the fact that they stole. But on the new site there is a "report comment" button which will alert the mods to a nasty comment so that we can delete it and also ban the person that left the comment if needed.
