hello there! i'm trying to get myself back into perlers, the thing is I'm mildly scared of irons. is there special way or tip I could have to ensure some safety? thanks ^^

(p.s= in the photo I just posted with the rainbow perler, that perler was a gift from a friend. just clarifying)rainbowsmile

DONT PUT YOUR HANDS ON THE IRON. DONT TOUCH THE PERLER FOR AT LEAST A MINUTE FOR SMALL ONES AND 5 MINUTES FOR LARGER ONES BEFORE FLIPPING IT OVER. IF YOU HAVE TO TOUCH IT BE SUPER CAREFUL AND QUICK. IF YOU GET HURT A BIT ITS OK, RUN UNDER COOL WATER AND WAIT FOR IT TO COOL FULLY.

ALSO LET THE IRON COOL AFTERWARDS. IT MIGHT TAKE A WHILE BUT LEAVE IT SOMEWHERE THAT NO ONE WILL TOUCH IT AND WAIT. YOU CAN PAT IT AND SEE. WHEN ITS LIKE LUKEWARM OR COOL YOU CAN PUT IT AWAY OR WHATEVER. DONT FORGET TO UNPLUG IT!!!!
